George Russell says Mercedes is investigating his Silverstone straight-line speed loss.

Russell qualified fourth for the British Grand Prix after locking up at Luffield in Q1, running through the gravel and touching the barriers. He said the car had no damage after the incident.

Russell said he was 6kph down in the final sector speed trap and 3kph down in the middle sector compared with other Mercedes-powered cars.
