Laurent Mekies says drivers are contacting Red Bull about future seats as the team works to retain Max Verstappen.

Mekies said interest from other drivers is natural for a leading team, while Red Bull is concentrating on finding the final two or three tenths of car performance needed to strengthen its position with Verstappen.

Verstappen is contracted through 2028, but performance clauses could allow him to leave after 2026. He is believed to have until October to tell Red Bull if he intends to activate a break clause.
