Stefano Domenicali defends the racing but accepts Formula 1's engine rules need changes.

Domenicali said fans have responded positively to the racing despite drivers criticising energy deployment and the resulting position changes. He encouraged drivers to raise concerns constructively and denied trying to silence them.

Formula 1 has already adjusted the 2026 power-unit rules and plans to replace the equal combustion-electric power split with a 60-40 balance by 2028.
