Gwen Lagrue leaves Mercedes and is linked with a move to Red Bull.

Mercedes confirmed Lagrue's departure after a decade leading its junior programme, where he helped George Russell and Kimi Antonelli reach Formula 1. Red Bull is expected to recruit him following Helmut Marko's exit, although his starting date remains unclear.

Guenther Steiner praised Lagrue's ability to identify young talent and called the prospective appointment a strong hire by Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies.
