Formula 1 currently holds six Sprint weekends each season, but Domenicali said promoter interest and stronger Friday attendance should lead to more venues hosting the format next year.
Domenicali said Sprints will not be held at every Grand Prix because Formula 1 wants the format to remain an additional benefit for selected promoters.
