Honda wants to help Fernando Alonso challenge for another Formula 1 championship.

Honda chief engineer Shinharo Orihara said the manufacturer values Alonso's feedback and is working to provide what he needs. Alonso last fought realistically for the championship in 2013.

Alonso plans to decide after the summer break whether to continue in Formula 1 and with Aston Martin. He said his choice concerns the new regulations and his enjoyment of driving, rather than the team's 2026 performance.
