Honda meets its performance target for Aston Martin's upgraded engine.

Honda chief engineer Shintaro Orihara said the new engine specification achieved its internal target and will make its competitive debut at the Dutch Grand Prix after running during a Hungaroring filming day.

Orihara rejected reports that the upgrade had produced another 50bhp but did not disclose the actual gain. Aston Martin will install the engine for the first time at Zandvoort.
