Cadillac has removed Lowdon and appointed Budkowski in what the team calls a planned leadership transition. Budkowski will begin his new role at the Dutch Grand Prix on August 21-23.
The former Alpine executive director takes charge after Cadillac failed to score in its first 11 Formula 1 rounds. Lowdon had led the project since December 2024 and oversaw its entry with Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas.
