Ferrari trails Mercedes by 72 points at the summer break but has outscored its rival in four of the past five races. Leclerc believes each upgrade has a greater competitive effect under the 2026 regulations.
Leclerc also wants Ferrari to understand why both cars have performed well at circuits where the team expected difficulties but struggled when its forecasts suggested a stronger weekend.
