Guenther Steiner says he remained at Haas for two years too long.

Steiner said his relationship with Gene Haas deteriorated after the team's early progress faded, and questioned whether the owner had lost interest in competing for stronger results.

Haas entered Formula 1 with Steiner in charge in 2016 and finished fifth in the 2018 constructors' championship. The team replaced him with Ayao Komatsu before the 2024 season.
