Haas has not confirmed either seat, but Komatsu wants the team to concentrate on helping Oliver Bearman and Esteban Ocon perform at their best before deciding its next line-up.
Bearman has scored 18 points to Ocon's three, while Haas has gone six rounds without scoring and suffered two retirements at the Dutch Grand Prix.
