Jenson Button expects Fernando Alonso to retire only when he is completely certain.

Button believes Alonso's earlier departure and subsequent Formula 1 return will make him cautious about retiring again. Alonso, now 45, is expected to decide his Aston Martin future in the coming weeks.

Button said Alonso still has the talent and motivation to compete and hopes to see him remain with Aston Martin long enough to challenge for victories.
