James Vowles said the two-day Formula 3 test at the new Madring circuit resulted in 19 red flags, three broken chassis and suspension damage. Incidents occurred across multiple sections of the track.
The circuit organiser requested the test to identify problems before Formula 1's arrival. Freddie Slater said tight corners, limited forgiveness and walls that close in at corner exits make the circuit difficult.
