Mohammed Ben Sulayem wants to persuade Fernando Alonso to remain in Formula 1 and plans to discuss his future with him. The FIA president has already met Aston Martin owner Lawrence Stroll.
Alonso has yet to decide his plans and says the World Endurance Championship is an option for next season. He says changes to the racing and driving under next year's regulations will influence his decision.
