Freddie Slater joins Invicta for his 2027 Formula 2 debut.

Audi junior Freddie Slater will move from Trident's Formula 3 team to Invicta in Formula 2 next season. He finished runner-up in F3, missing the title by 14 points after a mechanical failure at Monza and a difficult Madrid finale.

Invicta won both the drivers' and teams' championships in the previous two seasons, with Gabriel Bortoleto and Leonardo Fornaroli taking the drivers' titles. Both followed the same route from Trident's F3 team that Slater will take.
