FIA Formula 2 and Formula 3 unveiled their 2027 calendars featuring races at new venues including Mexico City, Istanbul and Montreal returning after successful debuts in 2026. Formula 2 will compete at 14 rounds while Formula 3 joins 10 rounds supporting Formula 1 across the season.

Montreal returns to the F2 calendar after racing in Canada for the first time in 2026, while Mexico City makes its debut appearance on the Formula 2 schedule. Istanbul will stage races for the first time in the FIA Formula 2 era, providing teams and drivers with fresh challenges across four continents.

Formula 3 will visit Jeddah and Montreal for the first time, with the championship concluding at Istanbul as another new venue. Both series begin in March at Bahrain and Jeddah before heading to Melbourne and Montreal, followed by Monaco, Silverstone and Spielberg in the first half of the season.

Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali emphasized that the expanded calendars will deliver exciting racing at iconic venues while maintaining Formula 2's role as the ultimate pathway to Formula 1. Series CEO Bruno Michel confirmed the territorial expansion would be financially sustainable, with freight costs covered to avoid impacting teams during the calendar growth.
