Formula 1 is weighing whether Qatar on November 29 and Abu Dhabi on December 6 can remain on the calendar after earlier disruption in the Middle East. Portimao is the preferred fallback if one replacement race is needed.
F1 also has to decide whether Bahrain or Saudi Arabia can be added back after their races were called off earlier in the year. If Bahrain returns between Azerbaijan and Singapore, the season would finish with nine races in 11 weekends.
