The Sepang International Circuit will stage the race from October 2-4, between the Azerbaijan and Singapore Grands Prix. Formula 1, the FIA and the governments of Bahrain and Malaysia reached the agreement.
The event remains subject to final agreements, official sign-off and World Motor Sport Council approval. The rest of the 2026 schedule is unchanged.
