Carlos Sainz will drop from 17th to 20th on the Spanish Grand Prix grid after impeding Valtteri Bottas through Turn 7 near the end of Q1.
The stewards found that Williams failed to warn Sainz that Bottas was approaching on a flying lap, and Sainz did not move aside.
