Mercedes drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli spent the hottest weekends of the 2026 season wearing metallic silver jackets that stood out among standard team kit, quickly becoming a fan favorite item. The attention prompted adidas and Mercedes marketing departments to create consumer versions that launched at the end of September.

Two versions are available to fans, with the standard Unisex 2026 Jacket Silver priced at £220 in the UK and $300 in the US, while the premium 2026 Pro Jacket Silver costs £450 or $750. Both jackets feature an oversized shape with stand-up collar, zip front, and lined woven construction that looks more like high-fashion than pitlane equipment.

The retail versions maintain the striking metallic appearance but simplify the technology compared to team-only versions. While the drivers' jackets include cooling agents and built-in fans for extreme heat conditions, the consumer models keep the look and feel using 100% polyurethane shell and 100% recycled polyamide inner lining without the advanced cooling tech.
