Bahrain's government remains hopeful its cancelled 2026 Formula 1 race can return to the calendar before the season ends. The April race was called off after hostilities between the United States and Iran affected the region.

Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif said October 4 is a possible date, though there is no confirmation. That slot would create three consecutive race weekends with Azerbaijan before it and Singapore after it.
